Our little family of four participated in a walk to benefit childhood cancer research a couple weeks ago. We started the walk near the back of the pack and Seth couldn't figure out how in the world we were going to win if we didn't run (to him walk = race). He and John picked up the pace (and took a major shortcut). I however would like credit for walking the entire course while pushing a nearly - 40 pound child.
This was the first annual walk and turned out to be quite successful. Over $100,000 was raised just in KC. It was a beautiful morning spent for a good cause.
