Okay, so this is a week late. We were not a week late in celebrating our anniversary...just a week late in posting pictures.

We escaped the routine of weekend work on the house and instead, spent a couple days relaxing in beautiful Rocheport, Missouri.

We stayed in a lovely bed and breakfast. We rode bikes (17 miles in one day to be exact!). We hiked along the Katy Trail. We ate at yummy restaurants. It was great.
Here are a few pictures.

This was a 350 year old Bur Oak tree. It's about 8 miles (ON A BIKE) from Rocheport. That part was easy enough...it was the fact that we had to turn around and ride those 8 miles again. Phew!

We parked our bikes on the Katy trail and hiked up to this restaurant for some lunch. I was starving and ready for some carbs.

We missed the turn to see the big oak tree so we rode farther than we needed to. We would have missed this quaint little bridge if we hadn't. It did not make the 8 miles feel any better however.

Here's John strummin' some tunes on the front porch of our B&B.

I love this man!

Happy Anniversary!
