Our friends Chad and Katie welcomed a beautiful baby girl last Sunday. The boys have been waiting with anticipation for her arrival and were finally able to meet her on Thursday. Colin held her for approximately five seconds. She wiggled a bit on his lap so he let go and said, "Mommy she's getting away!" Luckily mommy had anticipated that something like that might happen and never really let go of the baby. And that is why Mommy doesn't have a picture of Colin holding Ellis.
Seth however did awesome. He sat so still and quiet and lightly stroked her head. It warmed this mama's heart.
