I've given up making New Year's Resolutions, despite my success in keeping them over the last couple of years. I don't know if it's because there are so many new things going on right now (new husband, new house, cute new brown boots) that adding one more new thing just seems overwhelming? Or maybe it's that I finally don't have a "to-do" list that requires using both sides of the paper, and I'd like to keep it that way.
Whatever the reason, I'm not doing it.
So instead of a January post about what I resolve to do, I'll create a January post about what I've already done.
I shamelessly stole this idea from other blogs I read but thought it was interesting. It's a summary of the last year by taking the first line of the first post from each month. Since I started this little adventure in March we'll have to start there.
I hope this is as interesting as it seems to be. It would probably help if I were as interesting as the bloggers I read but here goes...
(Click on the month to see the full post.)
March: I've been a little blog-curious.
April: I have a secret desire to be a singer.
May: I have found myself involved in numerous shopping experiences lately.
June: Welcome to a new feature on this blog.
July: I just wanted to let you know that we are home safe and sound from our African adventure.
August: I want to welcome three new bloggers to the program.
September: I had a very productive Labor Day weekend.
October: Okay, so things are a little busy.
November: We're back and we're married!
December: I found this picture this morning.
Well, that's a pretty accurate summary of the year I suppose.
Whatever the reason, I'm not doing it.
